Who looks after your data
Influcius is operated by Digi Bread, Room no. G-2, V.M.C. Quarter, Block No. 1, Opp. Vaccine Institute, Diwalipura, Vadodara, Gujarat 390007. We decide how your personal data is used on Influcius, and we follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Questions about your data go to our grievance officer, Manan Karnik, at hello@digibreadadvertising.tech.
What we keep, and why
- Your account: your name, email address and date of birth, to sign you in and to check you are 18 or older. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google.
- Your phone number, if you confirm one on WhatsApp or by a call. It stays private and is never shown on a public page.
- Your profile: your city, languages, niches, bio, photo, portfolio and offerings, which you choose to publish. We remove photo metadata, including location, when you upload.
- Your Instagram and YouTube accounts, if you add them: we read their public numbers and recent posts through the platforms' official tools to show them on your media kit with their source. Your username on those platforms is not shown on your public pages.
- Business proof, if you verify a brand: the details you submit, so staff can check the business is real.
- Your onboarding answers, to suggest what to do next.
- Book-me enquiries: the name, business, email address, city and message the sender writes, so the creator can reply.
- Your support conversations, so our team can answer you.
- Your notifications, if you turn them on for a phone or computer: the address its browser gives us to reach it, until you turn them off, sign out there, or the browser ends them.
- What you accepted, with the version of these documents, and a record of important actions on your account, to keep Influcius safe and to settle disputes.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
To show you creators near you, we look up the city your internet (IP) address belongs to in a database kept on our own server (IP geolocation by DB-IP). We use the address only for that look-up; we do not store it or the city we find, and we do not send it to anyone.
How long we keep it
- Your account and profile stay until you delete your account. Removing an Instagram or YouTube account deletes the numbers, posts and pictures we stored for it.
- Public statistics read from YouTube are refreshed or deleted within 30 days, as YouTube requires.
- A GST certificate is deleted 30 days after staff decide on it. The decision itself is kept.
- Book-me enquiries are deleted a year after they were sent.
- A support conversation is deleted a year after its last message.
Who else sees it
Your public pages are public. A creator sees the enquiries sent to them. Our staff see what they need to run Influcius: answering support, checking proof and removing what breaks the rules. Service providers process data for us, under contract: our hosting provider stores it; Google handles Google sign-in and provides YouTube data; Meta provides Instagram data and carries WhatsApp messages. If you turn on notifications, the company behind your browser (Google, Apple, Mozilla or Microsoft) carries each one to your device, encrypted so that only your device can read it. Influcius uses YouTube API Services, and Google's use of data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. We share data with authorities only when Indian law requires it.
Cookies
We use only the cookies that keep you signed in, protect forms from forgery and, if you turn on notifications, remember this browser so that signing out stops them. Your choice of light or dark appearance is kept in your browser.
Your rights
You can see, correct and delete your data: most of it from your settings and your profile, and the rest by asking support or the grievance officer. You can withdraw your consent by deleting your account. You can name someone to act for you if you cannot. If we do not resolve a complaint, you can take it to the Data Protection Board of India.
Changes
When this notice changes, we publish a new version with the date it takes effect. Earlier versions stay readable on this page.
