The grievance officer is appointed under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and handles complaints about personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What you can complain about
Anything on Influcius that you believe breaks the law, our terms or our community rules; how we handled your personal data; or a decision we took about your account or your content.
How to complain
Write to the grievance officer by email. Tell us who you are and how to reach you, the page or account the complaint is about (its address on Influcius), and what is wrong. Signed in, you can also start a conversation from Help on any page.
What happens next
We acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days. When a complaint is about content that shows a person in a sexual act or nudity without their consent, or impersonates them, we act on it within 24 hours.
If you are not satisfied
You can appeal our decision to the Grievance Appellate Committee within 30 days, at gac.gov.in. For a complaint about personal data, you can go to the Data Protection Board of India.
