Source-dated number

In one line

A number shown with where it came from and the date it was read.

On Influcius a follower count reads, for example, "Instagram, read 23 October": the source and the date sit next to the figure.

An old number mistaken for today's is how an audience is overstated.

Agree: keep the source and the date next to every figure you quote.

One word leads to another.
